MEMOIR OF A CALL GIRL

What can I say about Damian Martorana? A lot. And a lot of good things.
Working with him on “Memoir of a Callgirl” was an exceptionally rewarding experience. His direction style was the perfect combination of allowing me to be free to discover, but also gently reigning in moments for the benefit of the overall story. I felt very safe to be free, and safe to be guided. A good director creates a safe space. Period. So the actor can be fully expressed in the bubble of set. I felt great comfort, support, and motivation from him every step of the way. This is just the beginning for Damian directing. I can’t wait to see where it takes him-but I know ultimately the direction is up. And I look forward to the day I am working with him again.
