His recent role as co-producer, co-writer, and lead editor for the documentary "Peace Pilot - To the End of the World and Beyond" showcases his unwavering dedication. Damian is all about delivering efficient, top-notch service as an Editor and Producer.
With his natural creativity, decades of leadership experience, and strong professional character, Damian has earned a reputation as a trustworthy and hardworking professional among colleagues. At the same time, among his numerous clients, he is known as a caring professional who consistently delivers the highest quality. Damian's journey in editing and producing began when he took an introductory broadcast media class during his freshman year of high school. He quickly learned how to edit on the big VHS tape decks and use a camera, and within a few years, he created the opening bumper for the high school news show. Damian's passion for editing was sparked when he cut together a montage with the movies "Platoon" and "Hamburger Hill," and the song "One" by Metallica to create a video-book report for John Steinbeck's "The Things They Carried" for a senior Humanities book report and received an A+.
As his passion for editing grew, Damian stopped hiring people to produce, film, and edit content for his ballroom dance company, bought a computer, and taught himself how to use the digital editing software program Adobe Premiere. In 2009, he began editing promotional videos for world-renowned dance competitions like the Millennium Dancesport Championships and for dance icons like Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy from So You Think You Can Dance. Damian also produced and edited videos for products, events, and places around the Great Orlando to expand his talents and gain more skills. Eventually, he got the opportunity to edit a narrative film when he worked on a short film for a senior student film from the Full Sail Academy called Murphy’s Law. Damian knew that to propel his career, he needed to go to where the best of the best were – Los Angeles. He arrived in Hollywood with his dog, Mambo, in 2012, and the rest is history.
