Damian Martorana is a Buffalo-born producer, director, and editor. After more than a decade in Los Angeles, he brought Damian Martorana Productions and Editorial home to Western New York.
He works across the full process: writing, packaging, fundraising, line producing, unit production management, first assistant directing, directing, and finishing. In Los Angeles, he has acquired professional proficiency in all facets of filmmaking and content creation by working with Emmy Award-winning film producers like Evan Weinstein and directors like Ron Deutsch, TV Stars and Personalities like Lydia Cornell and Mary Murphy, Movie Stars like Steven Bauer, Johnathon Schaech, Tyler Posey, and Al Sapienza, along with industry elites like Tina Imahara, James Moran, Frank Buono, and Mirror Studios. He's produced and edited content for the City of West Hollywood and world-renowned companies and organizations like the Aquarium of the Pacific, Millennium Dancesport Championships, the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation, and the DeLaurentis Foundation. He has also worked on professional film sets opposite Kevin Bacon and as a photo double for Doug Jones— on-camera experience that matters when a production needs someone who already knows how a real set runs.
Signature work includes co-producer, co-writer, story producer, and lead editor on the feature documentary Peace Pilot (Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Google TV); editor of Summer with the Guys, produced by Warren Zide; and producer, director, and editor of Memoir of a Call Girl. For WBBZ, he has produced, directed, and edited commercials, an episode of For Those Who Serve, and segments for Discover.
He is known for finding the emotional heart of raw footage and delivering efficient, high-quality work as both producer and editor.
